Hobbies

Self-teaching of the guitar

2018

  • Learned to play some riffs/solos by watching youtube videos but unfortunately I lost in consistency in my learning journey due to preparatory classes.
  • The best solo I ended up playing correctly was the one from Nothing Else Matters of Metallica. I hope one day I will have time or motivation to pick up the guitar again!

Certificate in music studies (instrument : clarinet)

2007-2017

Meylan's Academy of music

  • Practices in clarinet, courses in music theory.
  • Around 2015 I joined an orchestra called Bo.Per.Cui which gave me many opportunities to perform on stage (in France and Germany). It was a really fun experience as I got to meet new wonderful people and to discover a different culture.

Drawing

Since I could hold a pencil!

  • Here are some of the drawings I've made in the last years. I only use pencils with different graphite according to the level of precision that I need (shadow, facial features...).
  • I've learned to draw by myself when I was little mostly by repoducing pictures that I had taken or by trying to draw objects in my room. As long as I remember, I've always liked the idea of repoducing reality in its tiniest details.
  • As I grew up, I started drawing invented characters although some of the faces below are probably unconsciously a mix of the people I see in my everyday life.
